The Olympic shot is one of the different special of the sport shooting. It is divided into two modalities, the precision, whose objective is to reach a static or mobile targed, and the target whose objective is to break plates thrown by the specific machines of each modality. The shot has been included in the Olympic Program since the celebration of the first Olympic Games. It has only missed the Olympic Games od St. Louis 1904 and the Olympic Games in Amsterdam 1928. This modality al 50 m is subdivided into masculine and femenine modalities. The weapon ia a long - barreled shotgun.
